Newton Bromswold is a village and civil parish about 2 miles east of Rushden, just inside Northamptonshire's border with Bedfordshire.

At the time of the 2001 census, the parish's population was 62 people in 27 households. There is a pub and a small church.

The village pub, The Swan, features in one of local author H.E. Bates's novels. The village takes its name from the forest which once stood where the village is today, called Bruneswald Forest.
